Updates coming!

It's been a while since I've updated the site. After all, the attention I give the site depends on how users actually use the site. However, I have a bit of a backlog of references to add and I'm thinking about basic site changes as well. If you have suggestions, feel free to use the contact form.

The Management

Is it time for CERD to go mobile?

I am considering releasing mobile versions of the CERD database as an app for mobile devices, such as iPhone/iPod Touch, iPad, Android, and possibly others. These applications would contain a complete listing of the entire database (or possibly subsets for specific journals or publishers). However, I'd like to get an idea of how much interest there would be in such solutions. Let me know via the contact form or via comments.

Now authenticated users can both comment and rate references!

As an experiment, I'm now allowing authenticated users to either comment on an article or rate the article using the standard 5-star system. This is your chance to communicate with others your opinion on the quality of the material!

Update status on references!

Since it's been a while since I actively maintained the links, most of the links to articles were broken so the were removed. I'll be adding fresh links over time. Over the last week or so, I've been updating the journal Creation/Evolution by the NCSE with new links to full articles in html and PDF versions. That work brings us up to the following totals:

Total articles: 6955
Articles with full text links: 565
Articles with PDF links: 320

Export links now available to all visitors!

I have now exposed export links for all of the entries from the database. These export options allow you to download the reference directly into a bibliographic database like Endnote or Zotero. In addition, I'm adding links to full text or pdf versions of the documents when available. Books will have also have links to book sellers if enough information is available.

The site is now fully indexed!

Whew! That took a while! All 6000 bibliographic entries in the database are now indexed. What does that mean? All items can now be found via the search engine. I've also added the possibility of linking to full text or pdf versions of the text. So if you find the full text of pdf of an article or book in the database, please use the contact form.

Welcome to the New Creation/Evolution Reference Database

It's been a while in coming, but we now have an all new website! Instead of the old hash-table based site, this site is a new more powerful and useful database and search engine system. Enjoy!
